Two-hour course to introduce the world of foiling! The basic course takes place with laser dinghy with FOILZ kit. Students must be experienced in dinghy sailing before starting this course

A 6-hour ESS course to learn to fly the Laser fitted with a FOILZ kit developed by Andrew McDougal, designer of the WASZP. The base course uses the foiling Laser throughout and students must have experience of sailing a single-hander dinghy before starting the course. Those with no experience of dinghy sailing should look first at the VDWS “Zero to Hero” course.

The “Zero to Hero” course has the audacious goal of bringing people who have never sailed to the level of foiling in just 13 hours. The course requires students to take a normal twelve-hour VDWS dinghy course and, at the end of the course, if the instructor considers that the students have reached a satisfactory level, they will be offered the opportunity to try out an hour of Laser sailing with a FOILZ kit at an all-inclusive price.
